Bangalore: Lalbagh Garden
The Lalbagh garden was established by Hyder Ali, ruler of what was formerly the state of Mysore from 1761-1781, and later further developed by his son Tipu Sultan.

A flowering tree overhangs onto the water.

A temple, which stands atop a bit of a rock climb, is high enough to offer a good viewpoint.
Looking out from the temple, some of the city's buildings can be seen in the distance.
